Scott was born and raised in Sumter, SC. He graduated with a Business Administration Degree from the University of South Carolina and completed his Masters of Divinity Degree at Columbia International University. Scott and his wife, Sandy, have six children. His interests include his family, hunting, fishing, golf, and Gamecock Athletics.
