Allen Jones is a composer, singer/songwriter, instrumentalist, and music director with over thirteen years of service at Chapin Presbyterian Church. He and his wife Julie first
came to our fellowship in 2006. Whether writing for his own releases, corporate worship songs, or leading worship, his work has been evocative and thought-provoking, resonating deeply with audiences. In addition to his work under Allen Jones Music, his creative versatility has led to many opportunities to contribute to projects with other musical artists.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition, Allen has an in-depth understanding of music theory and instrumentation. This knowledge fuels his ability to craft melodies and compositions that emotionally connect with listeners.
As an accomplished instrumentalist, Allen has performed mostly on piano and guitar. His commitment to excellence and adaptability across diverse musical landscapes have been signatures of his career.
Allen finds purpose in assisting musicians of all ages to find a place of service in the church, helping to foster both musical growth and spiritual formation.
